Jason Raul Anavitarte is a Republican member of the Georgia State Senate representing District 31 (Paulding and Polk counties), first taking office in January 2021. In June 2025, he became Majority Leader of the Georgia State Senate. Before serving in the Senate, he served on the Paulding County Board of Education and previously held local office in Doraville. He has worked in the private sector and healthcare-related roles and holds degrees from Georgia State University and the Georgia Institute of Technology.
