Bradford Jay Raffensperger is an American politician, engineer, and business owner who has served as Georgia’s 29th Secretary of State since taking office in January 2019. He was first elected statewide in 2018 and re-elected in 2022, and previously served in the Georgia House of Representatives (District 50) after serving on the Johns Creek City Council. He holds a civil engineering degree from Western University and an MBA from Georgia State University.
