Supports strengthening and improving the Affordable Care Act and favors a public option to expand access rather than a single-payer/Medicare-for-All approach; focuses on expanding Medicaid, lowering drug prices, and investing in rural health care and workforce policies.

Supports stronger border enforcement against trafficking and smuggling, including funding for border technology and bipartisan enforcement bills, while also advocating for legal protections for migrants and opposing mass detention and wrongful deportations; favors legal representation for detainees and protections for unaccompanied children.

Supports protecting and expanding access to abortion and related reproductive care, including codifying the standards of Roe v. Wade into federal law. Opposes Georgia’s six‑week abortion ban and advocates for legal protections for contraception and IVF access.

Supports accelerating the transition to clean energy through federal investments, tax credits, and energy-efficiency programs while pursuing emissions reductions and domestic clean-energy manufacturing. Has sponsored legislation to expand U.S. solar manufacturing, increase industrial energy efficiency, and make residential clean-energy installations more affordable. Does not endorse the Green New Deal resolution but advocates major infrastructure and clean-energy investment policies.

Supports universal background checks, red-flag laws, closing the gun-show loophole, and a federal ban on the sale of semi-automatic “assault weapons” and high-capacity magazines to the general public; also backs violence-prevention funding and bipartisan criminal justice measures to reduce violent crime.
