Everton Blair Jr. is an educator and Democratic candidate for the U.S. House in Georgia’s 13th Congressional District. He previously served on the Gwinnett County Board of Education, where he became board chair and helped lead the district through the COVID-19 period. He taught high school math in Atlanta Public Schools and has worked in education policy and leadership development. He earned degrees from Harvard University and Stanford University.

Marcye Scott is a Democratic candidate in the July 28, 2026 special election for Georgia's 13th Congressional District. She has worked alongside longtime Rep. David Scott since his first election in 2002, including in campaign operations, constituent outreach, fundraising, and community engagement. She attended Woodward Academy, earned an undergraduate degree from Florida A&M University, and earned a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Texas Southern University.

Carlos Eugene Moore is a Democratic candidate for the U.S. House in Georgia’s 13th Congressional District (GA-13) in the 2026 special election. He has worked as an attorney and previously served as a municipal judge in Mississippi. The Mississippi Supreme Court removed him from the bench in a judicial-discipline matter related to social media posts and public comments. He later moved to the Atlanta area and opened his own law firm.

He has previously run unsuccessfully for offices in Henry County, including state House, sheriff, and coroner.

Caesar Gonzales is a Republican candidate for the U.S. House in Georgia’s 13th Congressional District, running in the 2026 special election. He is an engineer and former professional motorcycle racer, and he previously ran for GA-13 in 2020 and 2022. He earned a degree in mechanical engineering technology from Kennesaw State University and has worked in aerospace and manufacturing roles, including joining SpaceX after graduating.
