About
Christopher Michael Carr is an American lawyer and Republican politician who has served as Georgia Attorney General since 2016, first appointed and later elected statewide in 2018 and 2022. He previously served as Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Economic Development (2013–2016) and as chief of staff to U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson. He has also worked in private practice and as in-house/general counsel in Georgia. He is a University of Georgia graduate with business and law degrees.
